I bought a new PC with Windows 8 and tried to install the POD Revolution software but it does not work. Could you help me?

This software has compatibility issues regarding Windows 8 and Windows 7. Users reported to Microsoft support that the classes fail to register when it's installed in Windows 7. You can use an alternative software. SharePod is a good and simple alternative to music transfers.
Notice: iTunes needs to be installed in some cases.
I just installed the Pod Revolution to my computer, but every time I try to open it, a message box pops up saying "Class not registered". Is there something I missed? I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it does the same thing.

On the Internet, there are plenty of tips how to fix this problem. Usually, the "Class not registered" error is fixed after the Windows operation system is updated. In this mater, it's advised to update your Windows. To do this, go to Start > Control Panel > Windows Updates > Update. After the update process is finished, start Pod Revolution again. Your problem should be fixed.
The application offers you the possibility to copy the playlists and everything related to your iPod. Open the application, connect the iPod and the playlists will appear on the left side of the application in the menu. Right click them and you will have the possibility to export the playlists to your PC in PLS or M3U format.
